28 Reasons you choose Sitecats
john-4222b.jpgTechnical people spend long hours learning and perfecting their craft, but most haven't studied customer relations.  Sitecats has years of customer service experience along with a superior system of making websites that YOU control.  Genius?  Maybe.  But we've developed this business solely by listening to the customer.  Fancy that!  All we had to do is listen.

We understand why you've fallen out of love with your present web guy.  We empathize with them and their home offices and cell phones, but we've set higher standards with our customers in mind.  Over the past 12 years customers have told us they demand the following.

  1. To be treated as experts in THEIR field, not ours.
  2. Not to be fed a bunch of technical jargon they don't need to understand.
  3. The latest and greatest web effects at minimal cost.
  4. A PERSON WHO ANSWERS THEIR CALL ON A LAND LINE PHONE DURING BUSINESS HOURS.
  5. An easy system to add and edit content in their office or at home.
  6. A low monthly fee.
  7. A discount when they paid for the year in advance.
  8. Non-profit discount.
  9. Chamber of Commerce discount.

Out with the Old...
no_ie6Microsoft has announced that they are planning to release a stable version of Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) this November. This is great news for many web developers that have had major headaches with the previous versions of Internet Explorer, namely version 6, which first came out in March of 2001. I'd like to announce that we will not be providing support for users with Internet Explorer 6 when the stable version of IE8 comes out. You'd be surprised how many people still use Internet Explorer 6! It comes pre-installed with most computers, so I guess a lot of folks assume that's what they're supposed to use. In my opinion, there are plenty of better options out there. I've listed a few of the most popular options here for you:

Thought we could use an update.  Wow, we've been busy.  No time to write a goofy article, but I just wanted to acknowledge some of our new friends.  Have a look at their websites and let me know what you think.  Thanks!  Look for a new version of this site very soon

In no order that makes sense we present...

Fun with WNPV
open-house2.jpgWe had a blast with Darryl Berger and Jeff Nolan from WNPV 9-2-08 as we had our first annual Open House here at Main and Central Avenues in Souderton.  WNPV's staff have been so much fun to work with, and we'd like to thank them for the opportunity to showcase our talents on-air!

I'd like to thank Joyce for the great food, Debbie, Nick and Tony for their help getting the place in shape, and Courtney for her help keeping the crowds happy and informed.  Thanks also to Pam Coleman and Greg McGovern for adding their spin on what we do here at Sitecats, and for taking the microphone for a brief time to mention what's happening in the Indian Valley.

cake0902.jpgA special thank you to Danielle Thompson for the cake pictured above.  It tasted as good as it looks!

If you have time you can listen to the archived show

Shout Out!
Summer has gone swimmingly.  Recently completed projects include Coffee News Bucks-Mont of Souderton, Display and Sign of Colmar, Upper Dublin Lutheran Church ,jeremy-crazy-eyes.jpg Sigma Controls of Perkasie and of course Landis Markets (4 locations).  Almost complete are East Coast Hoist of Telford, BizPro EZ of Telford, Southbrook Construction of Southampton and we are midway through WNPV 1440 AM of Lansdale (no, you can't see that yet either).  New projects include Olde Mill Currency of Telford, SOC of Philadelphia, and we return to our origins by doing yet another Main Streets site for the Easton Main Street Initiative.

Nine other companies are about to be announced after their committees return from vacations.  If YOU are on the fence about a Sitecats website, please call us right now so we can schedule you before they get back!  We can probably save you some money or add more features than we normally would.  That's if you start before our September busy season.  Give me a call right now at 215-723-7050 or use the email form here on our site.

Update: Welcome Robert Liz of Montgomeryville, Special Equestrians of Warrington and David Cross Construction of Telford!

Peace,

Jeremy Ralston

Testimonials

John,  I just wanted to tell you that I enjoyed the visit and have a lot of confidence in your team.   Not only were they knowledgable but they have a good cooperative attitude too.   As I was forwarding your business cards/postcards to our NJ office, I was looking at them and I think they are fantastic – “Easy-edit website” – so true.
